A respected Russian analyst predicts the U.S. will dissolve into six parts in 2010. He's certainly right about the reasons for such a prediction. As this depression mimics the 1873 one more than the 1929 one, there's also a good chance the U.S. will emerge the loser, geopolitically and economically speaking. The United States can expect a terrorist attack using nuclear or more likely biological weapons before 2013, reports a bipartisan commission in a study being briefed Tuesday to Vice President-elect Joe Biden. It suggests the Obama administration bolster efforts to counter and prepare for germ warfare by terrorists.

Al Qaeda Chatter Ramping Up

It looks like the Islamic group Al Qaeda is again ramping up for an attack on the U.S. It's reported to be bigger than 9/11's attack. As porous as our borders are, even after 9/11, it'll be a cinch for these Muslims to infiltrate our nation. Most of our security is also a joke, made just for show and turned against U.S. citizens rather than the real bad guys (i.e., Muslims who take the Quran at face value)

When Israel Strikes Iran

What will happen when Israel strikes at Iran's centrifuges and, likely, their shiny new heavy-water reactor? Obviously, Iran will counter, putting to the test their grandiose military claims. I would find it difficult to believe Israel will escape unscathed, but I know they have a decent anti-missile defense (though not perfect, I expect). » read more »
